Till a couple of days ago we have a pretty definite declaration from Luca Todesco on iOS 10.2 jailbreak release status that no jailbreak is planned for iOS 10.2 running devices. Below tweets from Luca also states the same.

But it seems Luca has changed his plans on iOS 10.2 jailbreak. Yesterday Luca tweeted that ‘’ My fix for the issues in the 10.1 jailbreak will be to add support to 10.2. It will however not work on iPhone 7 on 10.2, just 10 and 10.1.’’ With this tweet Todesco giving us a hint that fixes for Yalu + Mach portal beta on iOS 10.1 jailbreak may support to iOS 10.2 running devices except iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
There is no confirmation or explanation from Luca why jailbreak for iOS 10.2 won’t work for Apple’s latest devices iPhone 7 and Plus. One better thing we can observe from the Italian developer is that iOS 10.2 jailbreak update also contain fixes for those issues causing problems in Yalu jailbreak beta for iOS 10.1 till date. That’s really a great news for all jailbreak lovers.
So as from Luca’s tweet, we can get one thing, all iPhone 7 users who want jailbreak should not update their devices to any versions than iOS 10.1.x as upcoming Yalu jailbreak update won’t work on latest iPhone 7 and 7 plus devices. Non-iPhone 7 users running iOS 10.1.x or 10.2 should not update their firmware to iOS 10.2.1 when apple switch the release.
So these are the latest iOS 10.2 jailbreak status updates. We will let you know the complete jailbreak procedure once Luca releases the latest version of Yalu + Mach portal jailbreak for iOS 10.2. Thanks for visiting us.
